01

Booking & pricing

Do you charge for estimates?+

Standard residential estimates are free within Philadelphia. Larger commercial scopes may include a site-visit fee that gets credited back if you hire us. You always see the number before we start.

How fast can you get out to me?+

Most non-emergency jobs are scheduled within 2–5 business days. Emergency calls dispatch same-day, typically within 60–90 minutes. Call (267) 483-1202 for the current window.

How do you price the work?+

Flat-rate for defined scopes (panel swaps, outlet adds, EV chargers, fixture installs). Time-and-materials only when the scope is genuinely open-ended, and only after you approve the hourly rate.

What payment methods do you accept?+

Card, ACH, check, and Zelle. Deposits are required on projects over $2,000; the balance is due at job completion after you've walked the work with the lead electrician.

02

Licensing & safety

Are you licensed and insured in Philadelphia?+

Yes. We hold an active City of Philadelphia electrical contractor license and carry general liability plus workers' comp. Certificates of insurance are available on request before we start.

Do you pull permits?+

For any work that requires one — panel swaps, service upgrades, new circuits in finished spaces, EV chargers — we pull the L&I permit and coordinate the inspection. You don't touch paperwork.

Will the work pass inspection?+

Every job is built to the current NEC and Philadelphia amendments. If an inspector flags something, we return and correct it at no charge until it passes.

03

Service coverage

Where do you work?+

All of Philadelphia — Center City, Manayunk, Roxborough, Chestnut Hill, Fishtown, South Philly, the Northeast, and everywhere between. Some surrounding suburbs on request.

Do you handle both residential and commercial?+

Yes. Single-family remodels, multi-unit rewires, retail build-outs, restaurant kitchens, and small industrial. See our services page for the full list.

Can you work on old knob-and-tube or aluminum wiring?+

Yes — Philly's older housing stock is our specialty. We can replace legacy wiring, splice safely into existing runs where code allows, and document everything for your insurance carrier.

04

Emergencies & warranty

What counts as an electrical emergency?+

Sparks, burning smell, smoke from an outlet, a partial power loss, a hot breaker panel, or water contacting live wiring. When in doubt, cut the main and call — we'll triage on the phone.

Do you offer 24/7 emergency service?+

Yes. Someone answers the phone every hour of every day, and we dispatch a licensed electrician — not a subcontractor pool — for true emergencies.

What's your warranty?+

1-year workmanship warranty on all labor, plus the manufacturer warranty on any parts we install. If something we touched fails within that year, we come back and fix it. No fine print.
